A NEW Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-#592

Hey friends!!!

There is a NEW challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. Challenge #592 is a THEME Challenge-FLOWERS!!!

I had so much fun using a TON of products from The Greetery to create my card. (no affiliate) Once again I am trying to use products that I have in my stash so I pulled out some flower stamps and went to town stamping.

Isn't it pretty? I LOVE the colors with the pattern paper background!!! Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC592.

Not only was I inspired by the theme but the little purple flowers on the cupcake. I knew I had to use this color on my card.

I mounted the stamped sentiment (also from The Greetery) over my flowers and added some pearls to finish it off. I LOVE how this came out!!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Monday!!

Merry Christmas and a Card!!

 Hey Friends!!!

I am just popping in with a card I created for a couple of challenges. I am so happy that I have a week off now and will actually have time to do some creating!!

The inspiration for this card was from Freshly Made Sketches #616 and the Just Add Ink Challenge #684.

I used pattern papers from 49 & Market and dies from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from an ephemera pack from 49 & Market.

The second card I created was inspired by The Card Concept #202.

I used 49 & Market ephemera and papers on this card. The gingham paper was the back of the label on the paper pack!!

I LOVE this paper. I popped up some of the ephemera for a bit of emphasis.

Well that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by. I wish you all a great Holiday!!!

Hi Friends!!!

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I stamped the Chrysanthemum on white cardstock and colored it in with Copic Markers. I then die cut it and adhered it to a piece of cream cardstock. Below is the badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #581.

I chose to use the fish and some under the sea elements from the set to create a little scene.

I colored in all my elements with Copic Markers and created a sentiment on my computer.

The background was made using some ink blending and spray stain that I flicked on.

Just a Reminder for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #560

Hello friends!!

I am popping in today with a reminder that you still have time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #560. Create a project using the theme "Winter Fun."

I did better this week with my card. I decided to create a thank you with a cup of hot chocolate. That is about as fun as winter gets at my house!!!

All products are from My Favorite Things, with the exception of the red paper and the snowflake. I had them in my stash and they are retired now but I thought they would fit for this challenge. Hot chocolate is fun, right?

If it isn't fun, it sure is yummy!!!

Below is the badge for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #560.

New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog!

***Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you. All are denoted by an asterisk.

Hello everyone!!!

I cannot believe a week has gone by in the new year. I am so hoping that 2023 is better than 2022 was. I have some resolutions this year but keeping them quiet until I form a habit. Maybe I will tell you next month!!

Today I am popping in with the detail for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #560. It is a theme challenge this time. Get your thinking hat on and create a card with the theme of "winter fun."

I am not going to lie, this was hard for me. I do not see winter as fun. I LOVE the cold but HATE snow. I decided to create my first Christmas card for 2023.

I treated myself to some fabulous products this December, one being the Spellbinder's *"Tiered Tray Decor." I HAD to use the little gnome that came with it. Isn't it so cute?

Below is the badge for Cupcake Inspirations biweekly challenge.

I paired the little guy with some trees that I die cut using the "Tall Trees" dies from The Stamp Market.

To be truthful, I have no idea what stamp I used for the sentiment. I cleaned up my stash and put it away before I posted my card.

Are you ready to play with use over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog? I cannot wait to see what you create!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Hello everyone!! I cannot believe it is May!!

I am just popping in today with a new card I created for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #543.

This weeks challenge is to create a Mother's Day card or a feminine card. I created a feminine theme card as I don't really make Mother's Day cards since my mother passed away years ago.

Source

We have a sponsor for this challenge! It is Crafty Meraki!!! She has a FABULOUS shop and I hope you hop on over to her store!!

I used a lattice die for my background and added some stamps from the WPlus9 Shop that were colored in with Copic markers.

I am sending this out to a specific friend that I have not seen in ages and that I miss a lot.

Please hop on over to Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #543 to play with us this week. I always love seeing the creativity of everyone!!!

Shaker and Stencil Release from Kat Scrappiness

***This post contains affiliate links that are used at no extra cost to you

Hello Friends!!

I am so excited today for a NEW April 2022 Release from the Kat Scrappiness Shop! They released new Shaker Dimension Sets and STENCILS!!!

I created two new projects for this release, a shaker card and a congratulations card with the new stencils.

For my first card, I used the new Butterfly Shaker Dimension set and the new Floating Dots stencil for this card.

I started off by creating my pattern paper background using the new Kat Scrappiness Floating Dots Stencil, the new Kat Scrappiness Stencil Brush and a stamp from the Kat Scrappiness Friendship Greetings Stamp set. I die cut it using the largest die from the Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a white A2, card front.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edged Rectangles to die cut a white postage stamp element and adhered it over my pattern paper.

Then it was time for the shaker!!! I used various colors of Distress Oxide Ink and Clear Embossing powder over the front of my butterfly. I filled my shaker with Kat Scrappiness Trix Mix II and White Diamond Sequins

I used the Kat Scrappiness Boxed Sentiment Strips to die cut a sentiment from the Friendship Greetings stamp set and adhered it over the butterfly with foam adhesive. To finish off my card, I glued sequins from the Trix Mix II randomly around the shaker. I LOVE how this card came out and cannot wait to send it to someone!!

My second card is one that is special to me because it is for my daughter. When I saw the new Falling Star Stencil, I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for-a graduation card!

I started off this card by using some blending red dye ink across a white, slimline card base. I then used the same red ink and the Kat Scrappiness Falling Stars Stencil to stencil stars over the entire card front.

Next I spritzed water and some mica spray over the entire card front. I then added the glitter letters that were die cut from gold and platinum glitter paper using the Kat Scrappiness Upper Case Condensed Alphabet.

I made sure to NOT adhere these letters in a straight line so that I didn't have to fight for it to be perfect!!!

My last step was to randomly adhere some pearls from the Kat Scrappiness Gray Opal Pearl Mix randomly across my card front. I cannot WAIT to give this to my daughter for her graduation!!!

Want to see some more fabulous projects with other new Shaker Dimension Kits? Hop on over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog!!!

What is a release without a hop? At 12 noon EST, we
have an Instagram Hop to showcase the release. Comment on all the DT posts to be put in a random prize drawing!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!
